Job Description

The Receiver is responsible for receiving the Premium Culinary Department's Food inventory and the distribution of products through the execution of standard operational policies and procedures. Managed by the Chefs who will be purchasing the product and finalizing the inventory counts. Responsible for ensuring prompt, pleasant and complete service is provided to internal and external contacts needing product or information. Provides and supports safety leadership in the Market Center.

Job Responsibilities

• Directs in-bound and out-bound inventories of merchandise, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of products

• Tracks product andinventories to effectively manage out-of-stock, out-of-date products, and weeks-on-hand to fulfill client needs

• Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment

• Monitors workflow and ensure proper inventories are pulled for daily routes

Qualifications

Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
