As a part of the OptumCare network, Riverside Medical Group is seeking aReconciliation Analyst to join our growing team in New Jersey. The Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for conducting reconciliation activities related to payments made in the professional billing system. This position is responsible for analyzing, researching and resolving moderate to complex issues and variances arising in regards to EFT/ERA payments, POS collections and Lockbox reconciliation. Ensure reconciliations are successfully completed and troubleshoot any discrepancies. Responsible to meet daily/weekly productivity and quality reasonable work expectations. Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Review & research a high volume of transactions, identifying causes of discrepancies & recognize resolutions, document issues & report to management
  • ""
  • Analyze and reconcile shortages and overages determining the cause and effect
  • ""
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • ""
  • Perform ongoing quality assurance functions and ability to recognize interdependencies
  • ""
  • Complete accurately & efficiently any and all tasks as assigned by the department management, with both speed and accuracy
  • ""
  • Download Bank Statement from the bank and reviewing output from Tableau
  • ""
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance projects as assigned by Management
  • ""
  • Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and apply them
  • ""
  • Participates in cross-functional revenue cycle projects
  • ""
  • Completes any duties and special assignments as requested

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated relevant health insurance or reconciliation environment
  • ""
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
