About the role:


Do you want to be a key player in unlocking a $50B technology titan for one of the fastest growing enterprise software companies in the world?




We are looking for someone to drive exponential growth of our APM and Central Nervous System (CNS) vision. This offer is the key to our next stage in hyper-growth and unlocking the Cisco GTM engine on behalf of AppDynamics. You will be an individual contributor working with a cross functional team that spans sales, sales ops, sales engineering, sales enablement and channel.







  • Be the figurehead for AppD in your region owning the growth plans (AVPs in particular) and maintaining close working relationships between teams
  • Identify and Execute Velocity Plays scaling AppD across Cisco customers
  • Build and maintain AppD champions within Cisco communities
  • Broker relationships between AppD and Cisco sales teams for target accounts
  • Work closely with senior Cisco and AppD sales leadership to identify top accounts and opportunities where AppD would fit
  • Establish regular cadence with senior Cisco and AppD leadership
  • Educate leadership, sales and architect teams on how to spot AppD opportunities
  • Create and communicate success stories for Cisco/AppD wins
  • Identify and address factors constraining the growth of AppD across Cisco accounts
  • Help build trust between Cisco and AppD sales teams




  • Dollars of AppD sold via GPL
  • Expansion of seeded customers



About you


You are a well-respected and driven sales person, focused on closing new business by leveraging cross functional teams. You are competitive & entrepreneurial, with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. You can influence at the highest levels of organizations both internally, and externally.

  • 3+ years of sales experience (software is beneficial)
  • Experience selling into new customers working across diverse, cross functional teams
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to engagement
