Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team at Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana. Billings Clinic is a Regional acute care, community-owned health care organization consisting of a multi-specialty physician group practice and a 310-bed hospital. This hospital is the major medical center for a three-state area with state-of-the-art care in oncology, intensive care, cardiology and surgery. All clinical staff are expected to have or grow nutrition support skills.


This full-time position is providing inpatient care to all areas of the patient population and does include some weekends and holidays.


**The ideal candidate will have:**


+ A Registered Dietitian Credential and will provide care to the inpatient population;

+ Prior acute care experience either as a Registered Dietitian or during an accredited dietetic internship;

+ Prior experience with utilizing electronic health records charting (Cerner);

+ The ability to work well with physicians/providers, nursing, and ancillary staff and work collaboratively as part of a team;

+ A strong desire to continue learning and advancing clinical skills;

+ The opportunity to participate in Performance Improvement projects, assist with department performance improvement, participate in patient satisfaction, employee training, and precepting dietetic interns.

**Position Summary**


Responsible for providing direct basic nutrition services

Key Duties

-Provides nutrition care to population served to ensure needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.

-Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.

-Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.

-Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexo resource when necessary.

-Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.

-Follows operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments..


**Qualifications & Requirements**


Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree


Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
