Your team


You will be part of the Request for Proposal Team. You and your peers of RFP Specialists will receive day-to-day leadership from your Manager. Youll be aligned by market segment, and will form strong partnerships across retirement to collectively create the best client experience.
We will provide you with opportunities to develop your skill set, stretch into new areas and work on transformational initiatives.


Your role


You are a project manager and RFP expert at the center of creating a differentiated experience for our potential and existing clients throughout the RFP process. You will be responsible for directing the strategic and custom positioning of RFP responses by actively participating in and facilitating strategy conversations with our sales and retention teams, and matrix business partners, to better understand the prospects/clients needs.

You are passionate about creating compelling proposals, with a focus on an engaging, high-quality, concise and fully-compliant responses. You play a key role in enhancing the RFP content through continuous outreach to subject matter experts and sharing knowledge gained with the rest of the RFP team.

You are a natural relationship builder, willing to help peers and advocate for the team both within the department and externally. They trust you to provide the best experience to our clients, manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

What we are looking for in your background


What youll need to succeed:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to consistently exceed deliverables in a high-volume production environment
  • Exceptional organization and execution skills
  • Excellent copy writing, editing, grammar and punctuation skills
  • Proven relationship building skills
  • Attention to detail, hyper focus on deadlines and quality of deliverables
  • Ability to adapt, problem solve quickly and communicate effective solutions
  • Continuous improvement mindset coupled with a knack for managing initiatives simultaneously

Itd be a plus if you have:

  • 3 years Retirement and/or Financial Services experience, and experience in RFP response development
  • Retirement plan knowledge, particularly with corporate, tax-exempt, and Taft-Hartley plans
  • FINRA Series 6 registration (or will obtain within 120 days of hire)
  • Experience with UplandQvidian Proposal Automation or other RFP development software programs, as well as Salesforce.com
