**Sodexo** is seeking a **Retail Manager 3** for **Guthrie Corning Hospital** located in **Corning, NY** . Guthrie Corning Hospital is an 80 bed acute care facility and one of the newest hospitals in New York State at only 8 years old. There is both a cancer treatment center and a medical office buildiing attached. Sodexo will offer the tray delivery system Expressly For You (EFY), we will install a Micro-Market, and we manage the Vending operations at the hospital.Guthrie has a large cafteria and dinning room operation open the staff, family and friends with annual sales approaching $800,000. Internal catering is provided by our department for all three buildings in the complex.This is a union accout with an excellent working relationship between all parties. Great customer service skills are perferred for all candidates as the Hospital uses Press-Ganey as its thrid party survey partner and Sodexo has ambitious Goals to achive in that area.


**The successful candidate will:**


+ lead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes;and/or

+ train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and daily operation standards.

+ have oversight of day-to-day operations;

+ deliver high quality food service;

+ achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

+ develop and maintain customer relationships;

+ develop strategic plans;

+ create a positive environment; and

+ ensure Sodexo and client standards are met.

**Position Summary**


Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.

Key Duties

- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.

- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.

- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.

- Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.

- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.

- Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers.


**Qualifications & Requirements**


Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
