Sodexo has an excellent opportunity for a Retail Cafe Manager at Elim Park, a continuing care retirement community in Chesire, CT.This a great opportunity for a customer service enthusiast seeking to grow their career and skill sets. This position will oversee daily operations of several retail food outlets. Looking for an experienced customer service person and team player with the ability to engage frontline teams to drive performance. 


We are looking for candidates who will manage:


  • 20 non-union frontline staff;
  • cash handing process;
  • frontline training programs;
  • opening and closing the operation; and
  • daily retail operation standards. 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Successful customer service skills
  • Passion for food service
  • solid computer skills to successfully work with Sodexo's Food Management System (FMS) and Sodexo Menu Graphics (SMG).

Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.Key Duties- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.- Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery. - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers.   



Qualifications & Requirements
