    Eat. Energize. That's the Freshii motto. We’re excited to have you join our mission as a Sodexo Manager at a Freshii branded store within a large urban teaching hospital in downtown Boston.  Construction is underway for this concept that is an additional scope of service at this Sodexo location – opening date is projected for mid-September.  Our goal is to continue to make healthy food convenient and affordable for all citizens. Together, let’s revolutionize how the world eats!

     

    You will be the face of the Freshii brand on the front lines, energizing our guests every day. You’ll establish, oversee and coordinate all the operational activities of your restaurant. Let’s get into a few more specifics:

     

    • Recruit, hire, train, manage, develop, coach and evaluate team members. Remember, you are their direct mentor!
    • Create an environment where guests are happii. Motivate your team to spread energy, be passionate about our menu items and work efficiently.
    • Lead and collaborate on team brainstorms to improve guest experience, operational efficiency and raise awareness in the community through events.
    • Effectively communicate and delegate initiatives, training, and responsibilities to your team.
    • Manage and optimize team member scheduling.
    • Maintain optimal food cost ratios through portion, purchasing, inventory and waste controls.
    • Analyze, track and submit key financial/operational results on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, as well as all other administrative reports.
    • Maintain all restaurant operation policies and procedures, safety protocols as well as governmental regulations.

     

    Passport is required – store manager training dates in Canada non-negotiable will be July 23rd-August 3rd, 2018

    Position Summary

    Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.
    Key Duties
    -Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
    -Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
    -Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
    -Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
    -Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
    -Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers.

     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

    Basic Management Experience - 3 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in retail operations
