POSITION SUMMARY
- Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations in the GI Endoscopy setting. Assignments flex between HC-MA GI/SDS and Trinity Health Hospital GI Lab. Takes call at the hospital GI Lab on a rotating schedule.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure
  - Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with certification every two (2) years preferred, must be obtained within 1 year of hire
  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) with certification every two (2) years preferred, must be obtained within 1 year of hire
  - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) with certification every two (2) years preferred, must be obtained within 1 year of hire
- Educational Requirements
  - RN program as evidenced by licensure
- Experience Requirements
  - Minimum one year Nursing Experience preferred
  - IV Competency
  - Previous Endoscopy Experience preferred
  - Previous Ambulatory Care Experience preferred
  - Previous experience monitoring Moderate Sedation patients preferred
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - Computer Experience required
  - Previous Experience working with and trouble shooting medical equipment preferred
  - Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and airway management preferred
