We are currently looking for a Hybrid Cloud and AI Data Platform Sales Professional to join our Modern Data Solutions & Systems team in Belgium.

In this customer-facing Sales role, you will use acquired expertise, combined with industry knowledge to help accelerating our clients journey to a new IT environment that facilitates AI-powered modernization.
You will work together with the Technical Sales team to present and demonstrate the added value of the IBM Systems Solutions portfolio to our clients.
This way you will drive revenue delivering a Hybrid Cloud and AI Data Platform to our clients, based on their new or ongoing business challenges and needs.

Job content:
  • You identify and progress Hybrid Cloud and AI Data Platform opportunities together with the Technical Sales team and IBM Business Partners.
  • You provide strategic directions to clients on running Hybrid Cloud and AI Data workloads on innovative, reliable and future-proof platforms.
  • You articulate the added value of our Systems portfolio solutions towards our clients and prospects.
  • You conduct research, answer questions and helps to handle objections that arise during the sales process
  • You maintain solution expertise of market trends in aligned technology including detailed understanding of the competition
  • You anticipate technology and/or market trends and provide guidance on their application to external clients and feedback of business requirements back into IBM Offering Management and IBM Marketing
  • You successfully build relationships with the account team, business partners and clients in support of sales team objectives and engage and leverage corporate resources and abilities
  • You engage in social media / digital marketing awareness efforts around the IBM data Systems portfolio
  • You provide competitive responses in the field of the IBM Systems portfolio
  • You use innovative ways to engage with clients and prospects and demonstrate client value through the use of e.g. discovery methodologies, meetups and whiteboard presentations,

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
What we expect from you:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferably in IT or any other technical field, Masters Degree in any domain
  • Experience in sales, customer service/support and/or consulting is an asset, but not a must
  • A passion for sales, customer service and relationship building
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing, results-driven work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local languages (French and Dutch) and English.
  • Technical aptitude to understand Hybrid and Multi Cloud technologies, AI, Data Science and Machine Learning and its Data Platform as well as the IBM Systems portfolio

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Previous IBM infrastructure solutions knowledge and product certifications is an advantage
