Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be an important member of the sales organization, owning outbound sales efforts by identifying active decision makers within Behavioral Health private practices, and successfully positioning Valant's value propositions. You'll team with Account Executives to grow pipeline and partner with Sales Leadership in providing valuable market feedback to the Leadership Team.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospects, creating a great first impression
- Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to understand business needs and identify opportunities
- Schedule follow up meetings with prospects and play a critical role in building sales pipeline
- Leverage various search tools to build lists of private practices that fit our ideal customer profile. Maintain and expand database of prospects
- Understand the drivers for Behavioral Health practices and utilize Salesloft to build outbound cadences that create awareness of Valant's offering and differentiated value
- Provide value added market intelligence to Marketing, Sales, and Product teams
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
- Take careful notes with details from your discussions to ensure the team is working with accurate information, promote seamless hand off across teams
What You'll Need
Required

Preferred
- 2+ years experience doing SDR work for a SaaS company
- Proven track record of high activity volume and success in sales
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft/Outreach
- Bachelor's degree
