What You’ll Do

The Business Operational Advisor is a key business partner to Commercial West Territory sales leadership, providing overall business quality assurance. Reporting into the Sales team, you will be an integral part of the team. Key responsibilities include forecast/commit management activities, fiscal year planning, knowledge and understanding of relevant sales tools and business policies, as well as compensation processes and procedures that ensure accurate G2C attainment at all levels of the sales hierarchy.

Who You Are

  • You can assess overall business operations from both a product and service perspective. Communicate analysis, trends and results to the appropriate management teams (Sales and Operations).
  • You will utilize your system and operational expertise across the organization as needed to deliver, educate, advise and share information across all appropriate levels of the sales and operational teams. Act as conduit to the Sales Enablement and Business Capabilities teams.
  • You are able to provide ad hoc and standard reports as they relate to Sales Org performance/attainment, customer trends and customer penetration analysis.
  • You may be asked to provide appropriate data that will enable accurate forecast decisions by Sales Leaders.
  • In collaboration with Area Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams, you will advise and execute various aspects of the planning process that facilitate the segment-defined go-to-market strategy. Activities include: account structure strategy and advisement, initiating territory definition/coverage model via required processes and systems, manage/execute those activities required for segment-defined compensation strategy.
  • You will conduct Regional and Operational business reviews – driving appropriate business accountability, operational efficiency gains, GTM strategy understanding while ensuring the appropriate service levels are maintained.
