What You'll Do 
 
Come help expand Cisco's Cloud Infrastructure and Software business. The primary responsibility of the Cloud Infrastructure & Software Product Sales Specialist
 is to work with Cisco's field sales to develop and grow a profitable business focused on Cisco Cloud and Data Centre Solutions. The candidate will work with their assigned Customer accounts to develop plans that bring incremental business value to the Client and incremental revenue to Cisco and to Cisco Partners through the customers modernization of their Data Centre environment and the Customers journey to Hybrid Cloud environments.

The Cloud Infrastructure & Software Product Sales Specialist will act in both a supportive capacity for Cisco Account Managers and in a leadership capacity depending on the nature of the client engagement as follows: 

In support of Sales and assigned customer base: 

       Coordinate with sales management to develop business plan for assigned accounts. 

       Define and articulate a hybrid cloud journey for your customers  

       Develop new ideas to retain existing customers and grow revenue from existing accounts  

       Present cloud solutions, including return on investment and value proposition.  Negotiate solution pricing with customers. 

       Address customer queries in timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. In a strategic leadership capacity to build the business 

       Initiate and advance rapid acceptance of converged, hyperconverged, and cloud computing technologies  

       Train sales team in marketing strategies and techniques to help promote customer awareness and identify potential new opportunities. 

       Build awareness of the competitive landscape and educate our stakeholders on strategies to position Cisco based solutions for success against current and emerging competitors. 

       Collaborate with senior management, sales teams and other sales specialists to develop sales solutions and improve sales techniques for improved revenue growth. 

       Participate in trade associations and industry conferences to promote company products. 

       Assist in developing marketing campaigns, materials and events to promote company products

 will work closely with Customers, Sales Engineering, Cisco field sales and other Cisco teams as necessary to support and lead cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment and consistency with Customers desired business outcomes in support of their application deploymentswherever they may be

Experience 

       Experience supporting and sometimes leading cross-functional teams toward a business goal which is fulfilled by the implementation of  Data Centre, Cloud and Hybrid Cloud solutions solutions 

       Experience selling to stakeholders and Business Decision Makers both inside and outside the company to grow the business 

       Experience selling Data Centre hardware, software or cloud-based applications to the Enterprise in support of their Hybrid Cloud environment; from the Networking Infrastructure up to the Application layer. 

       A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement. 

       Proven ability to independently forge, manage and develop new client relationships. 

       A business background that enables engagement with Business Decision Makers along with a sales background that will enable collaboration within Cisco and the stakeholder community 
 

Skills 

       A demonstrated ability tothink both tactically and strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions for Customers 

       An ability to understand client business and technical imperatives in support of their application hosting and infrastructure strategy and inspire confidence with a variety of internal and external constituents 

       Ability to establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with (and gain confidence of) decision makers within the customer and Cisco 

       Using in-depth business, technical, and financial analyses to understand the baseline and future capabilities of the client; as part of this analysis, align client strategic business and technical objectives with the required capabilities which Cisco provides. 

       Produce and present in-depth analysis and consult clients on the impact to business value that can be achieved.  Build expert-level understanding and credibility around the Data Centre and Cloud Operations, Software & Applications and apply this knowledge to differentiate our myriad technologies relative to competing solutions. 

       Working understanding of drivers of solution adoption requirements. 

       A self-starter, you are able to act autonomously to drive business results. 

       Strong communication and listening skills

Minimum Requirements: 

       5 or more years experience working with a manufacturer or partner in the Technology industry, with an emphasis on selling server virtualization technology, network virtualization technology and storage virtualization technology. 

       A business and sales background 

       Business Acumen in Cloud and Data Centre Technologies, Software Sales, and subscription business models 

       bachelors degree in a related field or the equivalent experience
