Your Role and Responsibilities
As a TSS Sales Representative for MVS Solutions position you will be part of the global TSS sales organization and collaborates closely with the rest of TSS, GTS and the wider IBM.

The role works for a TSS Sales Leader, Solutioning, Pricing and Delivery teams to identify, progress, solution and close transactions.

Your primary function is to identify, validate, qualify and close opportunities You will spend the majority of your time working on opportunities that are less than $10M in total contract value (TCV).

As a TSS Sales Representative you will be expected to take ownership of accounts in the territory assigned to meet TSS revenue and signing targets while satisfying the expected pre-tax income (PTI) and other financial hurdle rates.
  • This is a sales role on a high-leverage Sales Plan
  • This is an important role within TSS, responsible for overall account management and growth of key clients.

This is a critical role within TSS as the MVS Software represents one of the fastest growing TSS Key Plays.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Sales representative Multi Vendor Services (MVS) opportunities
  • Client relationship management.
  • Ensure invoices are raised and monies collected in a timely manner.
  • Pipeline identification and ownership through to successful closure.
  • Delivery issues are escalated and closed to satisfaction of client (working with our delivery organisation)
  • Signing focus on MVS solutions including OpenSource, 4Walls and MV solutions.
  • Logo renewals AND growth where possible.
  • Working closely with other IBM brands such as Global Markets, GBS and, IS
  • Lead by example to engage with new logo clients and complex opportunities
