What You'll Do

The Sales Specialist Premium Services position is a critical role in Ciscos Services Sales business within Korea. This role focuses on understanding customers needs and their business requirements in order to recommend the appropriate solution and to close complex deals. This role also focuses on achieving revenue goals; forecasting accurately on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule; developing a pipeline of opportunities; creating account plans; and closing deals for your defined customers. An essential part of the role is listening and collaborating with sales and cross functional teams to scope and size requirements using a consultative approach.

  • Executives and Senior Executive from Cisco's most valued Enterprise Customers as a trusted advisor.
  • Korea Sales Team: Country Manager, Sales Managers, BDM, Pre-Sales System Engineer (SE), Product Sales Specialist (PSS)
  • Finance, legal, and contractual experts


Who You Are

You are a self-starter, both a team leader and player with a track record of success in combining technical and consultative business skills to drive the business.


Minimum requirements:

  • Identify customer business issues, challenges, pain points etc, and build / position relevant services solutions/models for customers.
  • Gather market and customer information to gain a clear understanding of customers' business portfolio and requirements.
  • Experience in strategic executive and/or senior management conversations (Director, VP, CXO).
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a matrix organization handling a number of different internal stakeholders from Account Manager to VP level on a regular basis.
  • Prepare a comprehensive transformational business case describing how Ciscos solutions align with the customers strategy.
  • Advise on forthcoming service offers.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement, variations in price, and delivery and specifications with customers.
  • Expert verbal and written communication, including executive-level formal and informal presentation skills.
  • Articulate future buying trends and service requirements back to necessary business units.
  • Creativity and Energy to drive Innovation including managing ambiguity and taking calculated risks.
  • 10+ years proven sales background and track record in MNC companies.
  • Prior sales management experience and knowledge of Cisco Products Portfolio would be highly beneficial.
  • Requires an undergraduate degree.
  • Ability to have tons of fun while pushing for success.
