Core to enabling this transformation is the introduction of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to our technology stack. Responsibility Summary:

The Campaign Developer will partner with the SFMC deployment manager and Journey Orchestration team to create, execute, support, and measure journeys (inclusive of campaigns) built through Salesforce Journey Builder that delivery industry-leading experiences.

Manage end-to-end setup and execution of email campaigns and automations, including email creation, QA and testing, audience segmentation, and deployment.

Work with content, design and UX teams within Marketing to develop first-class campaigns befitting of the Edward Jones brand.

Using Marketing Cloud Interaction Studio configure client journeys through multiple channels including but not limited to edwardjones.com, our client portal and mobile app, text messaging, email, etc.

Translate digital requirements into working prototypes and functional user interfaces.

Demonstrated ability to manage a dozens of distinct marketing automation campaigns to clients and prospects initially, with plans to expand the number of campaigns and channels as more data and insights become available.

Partnering with Analytics team, ensure campaigns leverage the latest audience segmentation information, are tagged appropriately and engagement metrics are captured.

Develop and execute thorough QA/testing processes to ensure optimal user experience and proper functioning
Act as a subject matter expert on Marketing Cloud, Interaction Studio, and Salesforce CDP.

Stay current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud releases and evaluate new features as they are deployed and maintain strong knowledge of best practices.

-B.S. in Digital Arts, Marketing, eCommerce, Design, Human Factors, Computer Science or related field required.
-Minimum 5 years experience of developing, executing and managing strategic email marketing campaigns, preferably with Salesforce Email Studio
-Deep subject matter experience with email marketing best practices, including experience working directly in ESPs
-Must have deep knowledge of Salesforce Interaction Studio and Marketing Cloud (i.e., Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder) and experience configuring across modules
-Proficient understanding of journey mapping, email triggers, segmentation, and behavior targeting.
-Experience with HTML, CSS, SQL, and content design in the context of building/coding/deployment of email campaigns
-Proficiency in Amp script and Java script
-Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Consultant certifications preferred.
-Datorama experience a plus
-Familiarity with creating mobile-optimized designs, including responsive design techniques.
-Experience working with a Web Content Management System, SMS and browser-based notifications a plus
-Strong project management skills.
-Passion to remain current with the research and best practices in the fields of creative design, usability, human factors and interface design.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Working knowledge of multimedia technologies.
