Your Role and Responsibilities
The office of the CIO is looking for a responsible for configuring the SAP Concur Travel@IBM Expense project for the web-based, online application of Concur Travel & Expense. Complete configuration changes according to business requirements within allocated timeframes while consistently delivering exceptional levels of work quality and client satisfaction.
This Southbury based team will work in conjunction with China and Europe based team members to provide global support for the 110 IBM countries using Travel@IBM for Travel booking and Expense Reimbursement. Be part of a growing team learning how to configure the SAP Concur application and provide Global support to the IBM countries using Concur.
As a part of this 30-person team you will work both independently and as a part of an agile team. Your creative thinking and problem-solving skills will be valuable to the program team. The program is seeking an open-minded developer able to define new solutions. You will be encouraged to take advantage of training and self-education materials, and work with a team of developers to learn the expense reimbursement business process.

Work with client and team resources to understand business requirements and configure the SAP Concur Travel application to meet client requirements and provide application support to client team.

Proactively manage project deliverables and provide project update to stakeholders

Gather feedback from customers, evaluate their needs and create implementation solutions

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • 2 years experience at IT support/development field or a bachelors degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated communication skills in a customer facing environment.
  • Demonstrates spirit of teamwork and customer satisfaction

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Concur configuration training
  • Understanding of Agile Methodology
