We have an exciting Director Systems Engineer Sales role open in our Global Security Sales Organization! You will be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded sales professional who has a passion for delivering world-class technology and services that protect our customers from the network to the endpoint to the Cloud. As part of your DNA, you are an aggressive, self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that maximize Ciscos opportunity within the customer environment, position and promote the partner and customer value proposition for Ciscos Security Architecture, articulate Ciscos product and business strategies, and create the demand that makes deals happen!

Who You Will Work With


We are the Cisco Security Sales Team. We work with partners and customers to ensure the best possible solution. We have been in roles from 2 years to 16 years and support and empower each other. We have a wide range of interests outside of work, but we all love technology (and most of us have built our own Cisco network in our homes)!

Who You Are


You are passionate about the customer experience and excited about new technology. You are a true team player and love to learn. As a people focused senior technical sales professional, you:

  • Build capacity and lead technical excellence within the sales and engineering team.
  • Have at least 5 years' experience leading leaders
  • Have led a diverse team of over 200+ individuals
  • Have a solid mastery of cybersecurity industry
  • Actively drive use of Cisco technology within team, customers, and partners.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives beyond immediate area of responsibility.
  • Monitor and measure team progress against a business plan.
  • Clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas, including expert executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Lead team to technical account strategies that align to customer business requirements and goals; assign resources appropriately.
  • Develop senior management relationships with customers, partners and business groups.
  • Provide thought leadership to customer and partner based on short and long-term business and industry drivers.
  • Initiate programs to improve customer experience to increase brand loyalty for Cisco.
  • Facilitate expert understanding of customer requirements between customers, corporate, and the field.
  • Understand of competitive products and articulate trade-offs between Cisco and competitor products.
