Accountable to meet specific growth targets and drive the overall sales strategy within entire fastener categories. \u003Cbr /\u003E Analyzes a wide variety of strategic variables that span the breadth of the organization from growth strategies to realization of full-potential opportunities in the core business.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E 20% - Maintains a strategic fact base (market, competitors, trends, etc) that shapes decision-making with respect to products and categories. Interact with the Senior Leadership Team to refine the company s strategy and to execute special strategic projects. \u003Cbr /\u003E 20% - Serves as the internal and external advocate for new product offerings. Work with Sales \u0026 Marketing to develop annual strategies and priorities for testing \u0026 evaluation of new programs/categories. \u003Cbr /\u003E 20% - Project management of new products and category expansion from conception to the approval stage. Develops financial and market analysis as to scope and feasibility of new program concepts. Coordinates consumer analysis as needed. \u003Cbr /\u003E 20% - Builds and maintains close relationships with Merchants to drive business and help manage categories. \u003Cbr /\u003E 20% - Conducts ad hoc analysis and provides recommendations on a wide variety of strategic business decisions important to the leadership team.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003ENATURE AND SCOPE\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E This position reports to CB Business Development Director. \u003Cbr /\u003E This position has 1 direct report\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EEnvironment: \u003C/strong\u003ELocated in a comfortable indoor area.
