As a Senior Client Insight Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to bring to life Client Insight that supports defining and enabling the future state Edward Jones Client Experience. This position plays a critical role in ensuring we understand our clients' evolving expectations. You'll work with leaders across areas of the firm to champion the voice of the client, ensuring decisions and work reflects a client-centric approach.

*Responsibility Summary: *

* Provide strategic direction and consult with internal stakeholders and partners to define insights needs and create buy-in on quantitative behavior analysis and research (client, non-client, and branch) work plans
* Design, lead and execute strategic client insights projects that generate actionable insights to help us better serve our clients and future clients. This role will support large, cross-divisional projects by delivering insights to inform strategic business decisions.
* *Key areas of focus for this role include:*
* Client Segmentation: Advancing our capabilities to segment the business by bringing together behavioral data and primary data to increase empathy, actionability and success of a segment led strategy.
* Journey Analytics: Supporting the development towards client journey analytics by defining key measures and insights to advance the experience and assess ROI of CX led investments. Define future state capability requirements as a SME.
* Trends Analysis: Leveraging secondary data resources to identify emerging trends that will impact client segments and journeys and how those will be impacted.

* Ongoing monitoring of developments within the overall financial services client environment to identify strategic opportunities to pursue.
* Drive client insights information gathering efforts from primary and secondary sources and assess accuracy, validity and materiality as they relate to the financial services industry
* Guide business areas through the client insights process to determine the most efficient and effective research designs to their business problems
* Communicate insights to business partners and influence them to drive action by providing thought leadership on how such insights impact their overall business objectives
* Drive project execution, including establishing and tracking project metrics and conducting project assessment. Define and deliver against key milestones, including project design, execution phases, and approval of results.
* Identify, guide, and partner with external vendors to execute client insights projects, as needed.
* Understand, analyze and recommend various research methodologies to address firm wide business issues.
* Analyze, synthesize, curate and interpret marketing research, client data and syndicated data and apply critical thinking as to how it might apply to business areas
* Keep abreast of new developments in consumer insights research and behavioral techniques.


* MBA, Masters of Marketing Research (MMR), or similar degree
* *8+ years of marketing research/customer analytics experience or 5+ years leadership and marketing research experience*
* Detailed understanding of both qualitative and quantitative marketing research methodologies and sampling designs; desire to deepen understanding of current and emerging techniques
* Exceptional and demonstrated critical thinking, strategic thinking, process improvement, relationship-building and problem-solving abilities
* Proven writing and communication skills including the ability to present to senior and executive management
* Proficient with statistical techniques and analytical software such as SPSS, Excel and other statistical software used to analyze data and calculate statistical difference and confidence intervals
* High level of understanding of data processing including data cleansing, coding, and tabulation
* Able to synthesize information from multiple sources to develop conclusions and recommendations
* High-level knowledge of available syndicated research
* High-level knowledge of the financial services' industry's key competitors and their brand positions
