Primary Responsibilities

""
    ""
  • Complete provider site and treatment record review audits and report feedback results
  • ""
  • Responsible for managing and implementing audit plan for Behavioral Health Providers at all levels of care including mental health and substance use disorders
  • ""
  • Initiate and monitor provider corrective action plans (CAPs) as appropriate to improve performance
  • ""
  • Manage and host audits of the customers to include scheduling, organizing records, completing and submitting reports
  • ""
  • Design, create and implement quality improvement projects and initiatives
  • ""
  • Work cross-functionally, making recommendations or clarifying information to assist in closing gaps that are identified or to meet customer expectations
  • ""
  • Analyze and interpret data or information (e.g., clinical, administrative, Quality) to ensure Utah Medicaid regulations, Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) mandates and customer requirements are met and are accurate and complete

  • Develop and implement effective analysis, research and evaluation of quality management metrics

Required Qualifications

    ""
  • Masters Degree in a behavioral health profession
  • ""
  • Currently licensed as a mental health therapist in the State of Utah
  • ""
  • 3+ years of professional mental health experience
  • ""
  • Knowledge of the behavioral health services in Salt Lake County
  • ""
  • Experience auditing behavioral health clinical records
  • ""
  • Professional writing and verbal communication skills with customers and/or other behavioral health providers
  • ""
  • Experience developing and implementing performance improvement projects or using data to develop intervention strategies to improve outcomes
  • ""
  • Ability to collect, analyze and present data
  • ""
  • Initiates projects and can work on tasks independently
  • ""
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.

  • Knowledge of Medicaid rules and regulations especially 42CFR
  • ""
  • Knowledge of ASAM Dimensions and use for assessment and treatment planning
  • ""
  • Experience identifying data targets and analyzing results related to quality improvement/performance outcomes
  • ""
  • Experience with quality measures such as HEDIS
  • ""
  • Collaborates as a team player to achieve department goals
  • ""
  • Experience investigating quality of care concerns and critical incidents
  • ""
  • Knowledge of the behavioral health services in Tooele County
  • "
