Senior Compliance Manager Saudi

**Position Purpose** The Senior Compliance Manager will lead the compliance program in the market and will be responsible for providing in-market proactive compliance education, guidance on complex business transactions, support market with the execution of remediation plans (e.g. Corporate Audit) and conduct targeted monitoring/testing activities.

The current in-scope areas for Compliance function are Healthcare Law Compliance (Global Policy on Interactions with Healthcare Providers ("GPIHP"), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act ("FCPA"), My Anti-Corruption Policy and Procedures ("MAPP"), relevant compliance policies & guidelines, commercial plans and applicable Corporate Policies & Procedures.

**Primary Responsibilities**

+ Support Business to develop and maintain a strong compliance and control environment.

+ Develop the Compliance Champions skills and build a strong Compliance Champions network

+ Collaborate closely with Legal, GRCC & Finance with specific focus and accountability for:


+ Provide local consultation and support with consistent guidance on FCPA/MAPP controls, best practices, Corporate Audit & GRCC trends.

+ Provide guidance on transparent assessment & record retention in compliance with relevant policies (ex Corporate Policy #506, Local legal requirements).

+ Cascade guidance on changes/updates to AfME FCPA/MAPP SOP and relevant compliance guidance.

+ Develop FAQs & share lessons learned

Commercial Activities

+ Provide pro-active guidance for commercial team on complex market transactions (ex. marketing/educational programs) to ensure compliance with relevant policies (e.g. AfME MAPP SOP, CEP ("Customer Engagement Programs")

+ Provide pro-active guidance on NIP activities.

+ Advise on commercial plans compliance.

+ Provide guidance on compliance with contractual obligations (VIGO/Distributors)

Policies & SOPs

+ Streamline and harmonize local policies, including removal of local/ divisional policies where they can be leveraged from Corporate and/or Regional Policies and Procedures (in coordination with Compliance & Legal)

+ Provide feedback on the adopted SOPs and required updates (ex. based on local laws regulations, market practices) to AfME Compliance Regional Lead

Tools & Systems

+ Provide guidance related to the compliance enabling technology requirements for MAPP (ex. ACM System, ARAVO).

+ Provide support for deployment of new compliance & controls related software applications & ensure the adopted applications (ex. ACM) are reflecting the current SOPs requirements.


+ Perform periodic trainings for in-market colleagues & utilize in-market Compliance Champions (where available) & ensure proper communication of compliance policies & procedures.

+ Partner with AfME Compliance Regional Lead and other key stakeholders (e.g. GRCC, Legal, Finance) to facilitate the development of periodic compliance training materials (e.g. AfME MAPP training, AfME Regional Meetings process)

Monitoring, Testing & Remediation

+ Provide support and guidance to business process owners in the development, execution, and documentation of remedial actions for any identified MAPP/FCPA/ GPIHP design or operating effectiveness or process enhancements identified through day-to-day compliance and control activities, CCR testing, Corporate Audits, or Compliance quality monitoring activities.

+ Conduct "Targeted Testing" to insure proper implementation of remediation plans with relevance to compliance with FCPA/MAPP SOPs.

**Technical Skills/Knowledge Requirements**

+ Strong understanding of key risk areas in scope.

+ Knowledge of risk management, compliance and control frameworks and concepts (e.g., risk and control identification, risk assessments, monitoring and reporting)

**Qualifications (i.e., preferred education, experience, attrib** **utes)**

+ Approximately 5 - 8 years of working experience in a risk management/ control environment in a multinational organization, including experience with risk identification, measurement and assessment, risk monitoring, reporting and escalation.

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; MBA / CPA preferred or other equivalent education/ certification.

+ Experience working in a Risk Assurance Manager, Compliance, legal and/ or Audit role is preferred.

+ Experience in FCPA / GPIHP

+ Strong project management, organization and planning skills.

+ Experience influencing and executing complex solutions involving multiple groups/matrix organization.

+ Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.

+ Ability to interact with a variety of internal stakeholders including business, Compliance, Legal and finance leaders across Pfizer Inc.

+ Experience in delivering training is also beneficial.

+ Ability to meet frequent travel requirements across markets as needed.
