Your next big idea may just change the future of retail!\u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E The Sr. Data Governance Analyst, Product Data Management, is part of an enterprise Product/Item Data Governance team, which is responsible for designing the product classification structure, defining product attributes, and ensuring data quality and data integrity for product data at The Home Depot.\u0026nbsp; This role will partner heavily with teams such as Category Experience, Earned Media, and Online Product Management in order to improve site functionalities, drive customer engagement, online traffic, and online sales across homedepot.com.\u0026nbsp; The Sr. Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for conducting competitive industry research, building product knowledge, and planning/executing changes to product attribution for both customers of The Home Depot and SEO relevancy.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003ERepresents the Merchandising function in business process evaluation, procedural development, systems requirements definition and systems functional design.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProject/Initiative Management--Partners with senior and department management and cross-functional teams in determining and defining business need/requirements; project plans, risk assessments, communication, implementation, training and change management\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EManages the business and project team expectations including addressing project issues, changes; May directly supervise staff members in the development, implementation and support of applications and business processes to meet the client\u0027s business requirements.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDriving the requirements gathering efforts for a project (either development or implementation), including managing the expectations of the project manager, the stakeholders, the project team and executive management.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProposing alternatives and solutions to requirements management for each project that most closely aligns with the specific timetables, objectives and business issues at hand.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EConsulting with cross-functional managers, project managers, management and customers to ensure that all projects undertaken adequately address requirement related issues. Understanding the business case behind all projects, including the motivating factors for all stakeholders. At least 2 years of experience managing retail/merchandinsing process improvement projects.
