Unit Description

Sodexos Health Care business segment is seeking a Sr Director Business Insights, who will be responsible for bringing Sodexo market, customer and operational intelligence to life. Supported by a data team, the Sr Director Business Insights will inform strategic decision making with commercially actionable insights: helping product managers design better offerings with more compelling customer value propositions, helping the sales & marketing functions tell better stories and price services appropriately, and helping operations understand their performance in both absolute and relative terms. Always based in data and evidence, the Sr Director Business Insights will help turn data into insights, position Sodexo as a well-informed partner to our key customers, drive value for those customers, and drive overall business impact.  

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Interpret: To bring to life information which will inform our senior leaders, which our commercial teams can understand and put into practice, and which our customers find compelling. To map, catalogue, evaluate, maintain and manage all relevant insight sources within the organization. To support operations with dashboards populated with actionable and relevant data, and to ensure that the account based QBR process leverages both internal and external data to present our activities in an appropriate light to our customers.
  • Refine: To manage, expand and improve the data sets we currently have, covering the US healthcare market from a variety of different perspectives, support individual product/service offerings, manage our go to market process, and capture/analyses key operational metrics. To create appropriate links between these data sets and other operational systems within the business particularly salesforce in an intelligent way: leveraging the knowledge we have whilst maintaining the integrity of the data and maintaining appropriate security.
  • Optimize: To use a range of techniques for analyzing data and disseminating findings, ensuring that insights are presented in a way understandable and compelling to non-technical audiences: highlighting the strategic and tactical consequences of the analysis and insight. To deliver data and insight relationships with external partners. To ensure that the data analytics team has the appropriate skill sets, and to leverage wider corporate resources to ensure each commercial segment receives an appropriate share of resources.
  • Lead: To devise and deliver powerful thought leadership in areas identified as important to the business: supporting existing and potential product / services lines, existing and potential customers/partners. To provide input into the development of new sources of insight, through new applications or extracting data from current systems. Guide development so Sodexo can extract the maximum insight benefit. Drive both new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion opportunities with insights-drive value propositions crafted to address the most important customer challenges to be addressed.
  • Grow: To support sales and business development activities with specific pieces of insight work, helping the business create well evidenced and compelling value propositions for high value opportunities or markets. To support customer retention processes, aggregating data, looking for insights, developing common threads/threats and ensuring they are communicated/understood. To support product marketing activities including deep customer understanding, offering composition, offering segmentation and pricing, targeting, and lead generation/qualification.

 

 

The successful candidate must have the demonstrated skills and qualifications to execute on the following:

 

  • Significant Healthcare Marketing experience and deep familiarity with Healthcare data regulatory, operational, outcomes, etc.
  • Comfortable with clinical data and the ability to communicate outcomes information/insights in a relevant and compelling way.
  • An ability to understand & communicate both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Strong influencing & communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation)
  • Experience in implementing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in time and budget and at high standard of quality
  • Demonstrated experience with Marketing concepts and implementation strategies, including connecting the dots to create strong product or services roadmaps
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Sales teams to drive customer value
  • Strong planning skills; strong analytical skills; very strong team skills
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment where education, coaching, collaboration skills are crucial
  • 10 years of experience in data analysis, strategy, and leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clear understanding/experience of governmental, regulatory, and social forces in healthcare management, particularly as it pertains to the North America markets.
  • Clear understanding/experience of clinical, operational, and financial pressure facing our customers, particularly as it pertains to the North America markets.
  • Experience conducting primary market research activities. Clear understanding of primary and secondary data providers

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 10 years

Basic Functional Experience -10 years experience in a relevant field
