Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager will provide finance support to the PISPI board of directors and supply point operations. The position will be a key liaison with the corporate secretary and external government agencies for corporate compliance. The position will have full ownership of the US GAAP and BE GAAP legal entity reporting.



This position is responsible for setting up internal control reviews and MSA governance reviews with the Upjohn Finance team, Supply Chain team and External Supply Operation Leads. The role will also need to liaise with other functions such as Pfizer's Global Supply Chain, Intercompany operations Finance team and Global Financial Services under the Temporary Services Agreements (TSA).



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



**Compliance Support to PISPI Board of Directors**



+ Take full ownership of the PISPI Supply Point legal entity from a US GAAP and BE GAAP perspective

+ Ensure accurate and complete financial information is provided to external parties when required (i.e. Customs authorities, Tax authorities, etc.). This is in relationship with the TSA and different stakeholders working on the Supply Point's financial statements

+ Present to the Board of Directors the financial aspects of Supply Point operations. This will include financial statements key drivers and fluctuations

+ Assist the board of directors on the board meetings preparations and corporate compliance matters

+ Liaise with Corporate Secretary and Company Registrar for corporate compliance work

+ Coordinate PISPI contractual contract reviews for the board of directors

+ Assisting the BOD on the Pension Funds liaison and admin matters



**TSA Support Oversight**



+ Oversee the TSA service support in fulfilling the audit requests from the Internal and External auditors

+ Ensure full compliance with internal controls and external local accounting regulation

+ Oversee the inventory related activities: costing & tolling, inventory accounting and inventory reporting & analysis.

+ Ensure the MSA governance and RACI between the internal tolling and external tolling plants operations

+ Update the GFS statutory on changes to local GAAP regulations



**PISPI Operations**



+ Optimize Supply Point's working capital and ensure adequacy of liquidity for operations

+ Evaluates credit terms changes with the commercial markets.

+ Build new and develop existing internal controls to ensure effectiveness and efficiency

+ Review the analysis of Upjohn Supply Chain results against Budget and Forecast

+ Provide financial support to the Virtual Site Operations Teams

+ Review and approve Cadency account reconciliations

+ Support the month-end close review activities

+ Answer ad-hoc corporate or external information requests



**QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

+ Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred (ACCA, CA, CGMA, CPA equivalent)

+ 9 years of finance experience - exposure to manufacturing finance and freight logistics would be an advantage but not essential

+ Proficient in English, Dutch and preferably Flemish and French (basic).



**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE**



+ Ability to plan and prioritize routine reporting and project work to meet deadlines

+ Strong customer service skills with ability to align expectations with stakeholders, provide updates on status, and resolve issues that meet the stakeholder's needs

+ Strong ability to articulate complicated financial information and provide high quality data insights for management

+ Sound knowledge Microsoft Office with strong MS Excel capabilities and exposure to SAP, HFM, GMX would be an advantage

+ Highly effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

+ Possess a continuous Improvement mindset and will challenge assumptions, engage in active conversations with colleagues and management regarding possible improvement ideas



+ Ability to deal with colleagues at various level of the organization within Upjohn and communication with TSA provider for information to achieve the business outcomes.

+ Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

+ Ability to build good working relationships within and with TSA provider.



**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



+ Requirement to manage multiple time zones

+ Minimum travels - local travel to meet TSA providers as required
