This role is responsible for overseeing the Workers Compensation claims management process for PepsiCo field locations within a specified geography, as well as facilitating the occupational medical treatment and return to work process when an employee suffers a work-related illness or injury. In this position, one will work alongside a third-party administrator and seasoned team to ensure holistic, aggressive and cost effective action plans are developed and executed. This role is crucial to the financial and operational success of our organization. Responsibilities: Ensure effective strategy is developed and action plans executed for all workers compensation (WC) claims up to $100K incurred Support regional WC Manager on claims greater than $100K incurred Coordinate and conduct WC claim reviews and audits Coordinate support provided by claims adjusters, attorneys (internal and external) and Field (FCMs) and Telephonic Case Managers (TCMs) Build capability within Safety organization and Business Partners (via onsite & webinar training sessions) Collaborate with medical providers; liaison with business supervisors on treatment plans and return to work initiatives Liaison between Sedgwick, PepsiCo legal, HR and business leaders to resolve issues #LI-USA Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors degree (Human Resources, Risk or Business preferred) Able to build and sustain long term relationships with internal and external partners Self-motivated - takes responsibility for resolving complex issues and eliminating barriers Strong communicator- able to deliver a clear message to all levels of the organization Strategic, analytical thinker and problem solver Possess analytical skills to quickly learn new concepts and/or processes. Able to balance empathy and pragmatism Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to analyze information and make decisions based on available information Nimble, flexible and adaptable to change Responsive and attentive to time constraints Travel Requirement: up to 30% Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
