Job Description
Teva is searching for a Senior Manager, Global Hazard Communication to join our team in Parsippany!
The Senior Manager, Global Hazard Communication, will report to Senior Director, Environment & Product Stewardship to work, design and lead product stewardship programs and projects across the TEVA enterprise in support of EHS&S and ESG strategies. As a member of the global product stewardship team at TEVA, you will partner and collaborate with members of the EHS&S community, ESG Team and business operations to manage EHS product stewardship risks and opportunities.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the work in developing, implementing, and managing our global product stewardship program, which includes strategy, policies, standards, operating procedures, and management system to ensure compliance with chemical management and product laws and regulations globally, effective risk management, and business continuity and growth.
- Serve as one of our global subject matter experts in product stewardship, including regulatory compliance activities such as hazard communication, Safety Data Sheet authoring, GHS product labeling, US: EPA/TSCA, Canada: CEPA, EU: REACH & CLP, Japan: CSCL and other country-specific chemical registration, dangerous goods, chemical inventory and supplier product regulatory management, as well as sustainability.
- Represent product stewardship in the new product development process and new application review to effectively integrate product stewardship, risk management, sustainability, and green chemistry strategically into our product design, supply chain, and product lifecycle and managing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in the field of STEM (Science, Math, Technology and Engineering) or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant product stewardship experience and knowledge.
- Working knowledge of the SDS management system, WERCS Golden, preferred.
- Working knowledge of relevant product stewardship regulations such as GHS and REACH.
- Proven project and program management skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with LEAN 6 Sigma & OPEX process improvement methodology.
