Job Description

This role will have accountability and associated responsibilities for managing deployments for Global Quality Computer Systems, including the following: Assisting with developing and implementing global, harmonization guidance and templates to enhance use of the systems and improve corporate-wide compliance; Directing site/business level activities, ranging from data and process mapping and requirement gathering to performance qualifications and site acceptance, in support of computer system deployments; Directing activities/priorities for external contractor(s).

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage defined implementation projects/schedules/activities related to site implementations
  • Manage deployments per roadmap by leading all the business centric activities across all deployment phases of a given site rollout
  • Develop detailed project plans and train site project personnel for the use of Quality computer systems, data related activities, validation deliverables, etc.
  • Collect/review technical requirements related to site implementations for interfaced systems/middleware
  • Manage site communications related to the computer system rollout to Teva sites/functions 
  • Track deployment status for all impacted sites/functions and escalate issues to management
  • Assist with review of site issues and data requirements from both the technical and business perspective
  • Responsible to review issues reported from the sites related to system deployment and work with the appropriate functions (IT, external support) to provide resolution
  • Participate in system validation deliverables/activities (review/approval of system requirements, approval/execution of system testing (Operational Qualification (OQ) testing/Performance Qualification (PQ) testing)
  • Collect system enhancement requests from sites and work with global teams to manage these requests towards features or usable work-arounds
  • Participate in the semi-annual release meetings to provide input/concurrence on system changes
  • Develop and maintain a SharePoint Site as a communication portal, reference material repository and implementation tracking tool supporting the implementation of computer systems for the global Teva organization
  • Serve as the backup to Global System Business Owner for Studium LMS (GxP) and other Global Quality computer systems as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Science is required and advanced degree preferred in science/regulatory/computer science/management field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in pharmaceutical or related industry
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical quality and quality systems, with broad experience and exposure to best practices
  • Knowledge of cGxP requirements, Quality related IT applications, and computer system validation
  • Demonstrated experience with managing complex projects
  • Experience in project and/or program management leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience in regional and/or global role
  • Verbal and written communication excellence required
  • Technical knowledge and expertise with Quality Management computer systems including Learning Management Systems and processes
  • Skilled with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and SharePoint
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness and initiative and creates an appropriate level of urgency to meet objectives and deadlines
