Job Description

The Sr Manager Teva api Sales main responsibility is to manage the sales and marketing activities in the North American region and to generate new business opportunities with the allocated customers in an effort to meet or exceed work plan sales goals.  This role requires broad scope analysis and understanding of the pharmaceutical market, including its players, products and API competitors.   Additionally, the ability to negotiate win-win results and the ability to see the complete picture, and identify opportunities and execute on them in a timely manner.  Through strategic thinking and awareness, the incumbent executes on valuable opportunities to the organization, while providing valuable insights and recommendations to management.   The ideal candidate possesses, multi-task capabilities, networking base and skills, is energetic, self-motivated, strong inter-personal skills and able to work under minimal supervision.

 

 

Qualifications

Bachelors degree

A minimum of six years of corporate experience

Experience in pharmaceuticals, two years API sales to pharmaceutical companies are preferred

  • Science background preferred, ideally in Chemistry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and execute on them in an expeditious manner.
  • Works effectively in a multi-task environment. Modifies plans as situations warrant; establishes and uses alternative plans.
  • Strategically manages time to balance associate needs, business opportunities, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Possesses knowledge, understanding and experience with international competition, business requirements, dynamics and trade regulations pertaining to own business operations.
