Senior-Network Engineer (Government)

The CNOSC Network Operations Team supports various Federal Government and Military organizations by providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video and various networking and collaboration services.


The AT&T CNOSC Network Operations Center has an opening for an On-Site Network Engineer to support a 24 x 7 Network Operation Center which provides management and oversight of various networks in a multi-tenant secure environment.


**Duties/Responsibilities:**


+ Responsible for the OA&M of Government customer networks and supporting AT&T infrastructure.

+ Act as site team lead and primary point of contact for the facility.

+ Responsible for troubleshooting end to end connectivity issues ranging from possible routing issues to EU configuration in a NOC environment

+ Responsible for documenting service restoration efforts within ServiceNow

+ Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation (SOP/DLPs).

+ Network Operations Center staff are an on-site resource. The work environment will be within a secure facility which operates on a 24x7x365 Basis.

+ Must be able to work non-traditional business hours as needed. Primary shift will be 11pm to 7am (Sun-Thu) or 10PM to 8AM(Sun-Wed). The ability to periodically work other shifts as needed is a requirement


**Required Clearance:**


Secret (#secret) Ability to successfully obtain other clearances as needed


**Required Qualifications:**


+ Experience using ServiceNow and or Remedy in a networking environment

+ Minimum 2 years experience maintaining and configuration routers, switches

+ Minimum 2 years experience troubleshooting complex routing solutions, MPLS, Vlans, Tunnels.

+ Minimum 2 years experience working in an enterprise operations center environment

+ Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (SOP/DLPs)

+ Leadership skills, Solid communication skills, and solid team building skills.


**Desired Qualifications:**


+ DoD 8570 Compliance with IAM level 2 is strongly desired

+ Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.

+ ServiceNow Certifications such as Implementation Specialist ITSM Certification.

+ Extensive experience working in an Enterprise Operations Center environment.

+ Cisco Networking Certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP,

+ CompTIA Network+, Security CompTIA Network +, Security+ CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
