The Finance team for PGIM Investments, the retail mutual fund business of PGIM, currently has an opening for a Senior Planning & Analysis Associate. Your role on this team will support senior management and other business partners in measuring and evaluating the financial performance of the business with a strong focus on managing the budgeting process for the core business, as well as our strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:    

  

  • Develop forecasts of the PGIM Investments budgets, including scenario analysis under various economic conditions
  • Provide expense related support to business partners, including analysis of actuals vs. budget
  • Prepare analysis packages for senior management discussions on multi-year forecasts, strategic initiatives and opportunities to improve financial performance
  • Support annual benchmarking studies and other competitive analysis
  • Support profitability analysis by product and distribution channel
  • Proven ability to analyze data and the underlying drivers of financial results
  • Assist in business specific projects as needed

Specific responsibilities for the position will vary over time based on business needs and other factors.

 

 

 

 



Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis or reporting
  • Advanced excel knowledge with proven ability to manipulate large data sets and create financial models
  • Agile and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with desire to develop presentation skills to senior management while maintaining a strong executive presence

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree and/or relevant certification (MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
