What You'll Do

You will accelerate Cisco Business Entity's portfolio strategies, including the shift to Software and Recurring Revenue and XaaS, by onboarding their portfolios into the latest Cisco offer structures and Enterprise Agreements. In partnership with BEs, Sales and other functions, you will develop new offer structures to support Ciscos future business. You will engage assigned Cisco Business Entities to:

  • Develop and operationalize new Cisco business models and offer constructs, or extend existing, as needed to support the evolution of each business
  • Assume accountability and ownership for the Portfolio Offer and Business Transformation enablement roadmap along with the Cisco Business Entities Product Management and Executive leadership
  • Accelerate and optimize new BE portfolio offers, acquisitions, and business transitions using established Cisco business models, monetization standards, and best practices
  • Onboard portfolio offers onto the Cisco Enterprise Agreement and other relevant Buying Programs, including offer design for each EA instantiation
  • Ensure business, operational, and GTM capabilities required to support the new business models are identified and prioritized

  • Direct Product Management experience with end to end ownership of product lifecycle and product profit & loss (P&L) including business strategy, competitive analysis, product requirements, roadmap prioritization, pricing, packaging and go to market enablement
  • Experience in offer development process including understanding the business opportunity, developing the offer structure, determining the requisite features/capabilities, driving the development process, managing the offer release, tracking offer performance in market, and making refinements
  • New business models & new offer development that includes hardware, software, and services
  • Enterprise software monetization including licensing, Enterprise Agreements, subscriptions, and XaaS
  • Business modeling including forecasting, revenue, margins, customer TCO, with scenario modeling
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organization skills with strong problem solving ability
  • Cross-functional project leadership including coordination of Business Units, Services, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations
  • Familiarity with networking, collaboration, and security technologies sold into Enterprise IT, Data Center, and Service Provider markets

Core qualifications for this role

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA strongly preferred but not required with relevant work experience)
  • 7+ years of product management experience with increasing responsibility
