Ciscos CX Data and Insights team is hiring a Senior Product Owner leading the development of analytics and insights products in CX. Cisco and CX are in the midst of an exciting time breaking down silos across the company and using data to transform the organization. The vision for the team is to build world class analytics products that can be used by our internal partners to drive growth and customer adoption, while also looking to the future of for-fee based analytics products for our customers.

What Youll Do

As Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the features in building best in industry Analytics products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with CX Cloud Product Management as CX focuses on customer, partner, success track
  • Identify needs and challenges with developing and deploying APIs and data needs
  • Drive and/or participate in the conceptualization process, strategizing, bringing creative ideas, and proposing different approaches to the feature set
  • Interlock with CX Product Management and Operations Customer Success Data Foundation teams on requirements and data sourcing
  • Define and build Business Process, Business Capabilities, Drive new Business Policies and Technical and Data Architecture
  • Engage and have regular exposure with CX Business, CX Engineering, and IT Leadership Teams.
  • Provide domain business expertise and related business processes
  • Execute in an extremely agile environments where business and technology leaders engage in detailed problem solving regularly
  • Work closely with many teams across a matrix organization structure.

Who Youll Work With

  • This is a position within the CX Data, Insights and Growth team and will have regular exposure to CX Business, CX Engineering, and IT Leadership Teams.
  • Work with fellow business domain specialists in CX, Engineering, D&A, Operations, and IT
  • Engage directly with business & technology leaders to solve business, solution, and technical problems in a fluid agile environment
  • Work closely with many teams across a matrix organization structure.

You are able to lead the rollout of a multi-dimensional analytics capability, partnering with teams across multiple fields.

  • Self-starter and ability to define and hold the big picture while executing on a piece of it
  • Expert level understanding of digital trends and impact to various industries and how it can enable business transformation and create true value.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience across digital, change management, innovation and experience design.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, with a track record of decisive decision making.
  • Proven ability to generate trust and build alliances.
  • Empathy, curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn.
  • Passion for customer experience, business, market trends, and technology.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, innovative, agile environment
  • Experience as a Product Owner in a large organization, Defining Business Process, Business Capabilities, Drive new Business Policies and Technical and Data Architecture
  • Functional Domain knowledge in Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, & Support


  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar technical/quantitative field, or M.B.A. with a technical emphasis.
  • Preferably 2-4 years of proven experience in data science and machine learning
  • Prior experience managing teams, including experience leading a team developing analytical offers and/or capabilities
  • Experience in architecting or leading multi-functional projects
  • Strong leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills
