In this detail-driven role, you will be responsible for reviewing software capitalization accounting for compliance with policies and gaining necessary concurrence with business partners in IT and Accounting.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide initial review of annual impairment testing (e.g. goodwill and other intangibles) including facilitating review by external auditors.
  • Assist business partners with analyzing, monitoring, interpreting, and implementing new and proposed accounting and disclosure pronouncements and guidance from the SEC, FASB, and other standard setters in order to ensure consistent and appropriate adherence to the letter and intent of applicable guidance.
  • Responsible for providing accounting thought leadership on emerging issues and complex or unique transactions such as acquisition and divestitures, business initiatives, new products, hedging, etc.
  • Provide quality and timely technical accounting research, which includes the preparation of related memos that ensures appropriate accounting for actual and proposed transactions.

Role Requirements

  • Education or equivalent skills are required, 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Accounting. Working towards or have obtained your CPA is preferred.
  • Able to prioritize your work and demonstrate advanced problem-solving, technical, decision-making, and diplomacy skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Salary

The salary range is $82,485.03 - $140,745.74 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies.
