Sodexo is seeking a Senior Technical Support Manager for our client located in Houston, TX

We are looking for individuals with demonstrated experience in leading and supporting Facilities Operations teams in Building and Facility Critical Operations.

This role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all facility business critical operations and systems to help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels.  These systems will include, but not be limited to - Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical Distribution, Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Data Center and Emergency/Standby Power. This role will interact with Operations Leadership, Engineers, Design & Construction, as well as critical client stakeholders. 

The Technical Support Manager will be supporting Critical Systems in Office Buildings, Data Centers, Technical Centers/Laboratories and Refineries. This position will work primarily in an office environment but will be supporting field operations throughout the clients portfolio as well.Is this opportunity right for you?   • cultivate relationships with clients and other teams within Sodexo;

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to ensure consistency in the application, development, implementation, of policies and procedures for the maintenance and operational up-time of a facilitys critical systems and document compliance with those policies and procedures.
  • Have proven Data Center Engineering Experience
  • Have experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem solving
  • Be able to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams and building drawings
  • Possess the ability to share knowledge and train peers
  • Be able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, technical writing or business justifications (white paper experience)

Position Summary

Supports product/products District Managers through the successful dissemination of technical systems, programs, and products.  

Key Duties-Day to day leadership support of successful dissemination of technical systems, programs, and products of the brand

- Provides innovative solutions to our clients that deliver cost and quality solutions. 

- Interprets relevant Sodexo policy and procedures and makes frequent business decisions, often without the benefit of direct guidance.

- Interfaces with all levels of staff, current and prospective clients, and vendors.
