As an IT Support Technician, you will be tasked with supporting technical requests via the IT Service Desk ticket system and completing assigned tasks and projects. Projects and requests will involve installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining hardware and software in the end user environment to ensure optimal workstation and peripheral performance.  Duties also include following inventory procedures, end user training, and communication with vendors for product research and support, and following escalation procedures as needed.  


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed.
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, phones and other peripheral equipment.

  • Utilize enterprise tools sets such as Active Directory, System Center, etc

  • Manage and complete incident and move, add, change (MAC) requests and update ticketing system accordingly
  • Collaborate with system/network/database administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company's end user computing environment.
  • Maintain software and hardware inventories

  • Assist with equipment replacement cycle

  • Must be able to provide on-call support 24x7 as part of a rotation

  • If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors and escalate as needed to maintain service levels.
  • Prepare and maintain appropriate written documentation for procedures, systems, and infrastructure

  • Maintain an awareness of trends within the technology industry

  • New Hire Documentation - Review and submit DSIG New Hire Documentation

  • Termination Documentation - Review and submit DSIG Termination Documentation

  • Cell Phones - Review and submit DSIG Cell Phone Documentation

  • Maintain a neat and organized workspace.

  • Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned.
