In this key leadership role, you will oversee the development and execution of service delivery commitments to continuously drive cost performance, productivity and profitable growth. Effectively oversee Revenue Cycle Services day-to-day operations servicing our client throughout the country. Manage ~ 2,500 employees that collect revenues of $7.7B processing ~ 150 million requisitions annually.



You will be accountable for leading Revenue Cycle Services best practices initiatives targeting delivery of world class billing services, driving patient and customer commitment, and maximizing return through improved bad debt, cash realization and cost efficiencies.



Specific responsibilities include:



  • Collaborate with executive leaders and their organizations across the enterprise to identify critical customer issues, strategic growth opportunities and market developments to optimize revenue generation and collection
  • Effectively lead, communicate and reinforce company strategy throughout the organization
  • Focus on flawless execution of strategy to drive world class results
  • Effectively direct the organization through Mergers and Acquisitions combining Billing, Finance and Operations perspectives
  • Develop the Billing organization into a strategic advantage for the company in the area of bad reduction, patient experience and time of service payment
  • Oversee billing activities for domestic billing operations with offices throughout the country
  • Leverage best practices to drive a significant change agenda relative to automation and innovation to improve performance, efficiency and reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain a strong alignment with the Commercial and Operations leadership (Senior Management Teams, Regional Vice Presidents, Finance, Functional Operations Leaders) on the execution of corporate strategy
  • Develop / continually reassess and execute a strategy to ensure cash flow needs are being met
  • Work with Franchises and Marketing in developing new services and providing insights on industry trends and capabilities
  • Develop programs with Medical, Finance, Legal and Compliance to ensure strict adherence to complex regulatory and financial requirements
  • Lead initiatives that prepare and maximize the effectiveness of our efforts regarding government regulatory preparedness and execution concerning Billing Operations
  • Drive a performance culture relative to the development of people and teams



Candidates will possess:




  • 15 + years of leadership experience in revenue cycle services
  • Prior experience leading a team of 2000+ people across distributed geographic regions
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change
  • Progressively responsible leadership positions within billing operations, strategic business planning, and/or customer services efficiencies
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare billing and experience negotiating, leading and communicating complex strategic business issues
  • Demonstrated understanding of billing system applications and integrations
  • Experience with high volume revenue cycle operations
  • Previous experiences in Laboratory operations
  • Strategic thinker with executive leadership and influencing skills
  • Prior experience interfacing with the c-Suite and Board of Directors
  • Ability to create and manage to a strategic vision and lead process improvement within the organization
  • P&L management knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to drive talent development for other leaders
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or health policy or related field or equivalent experience
  • MBA or comparable master's degree preferred
  • Prior experiences in the Finance discipline a plus
