What You'll Do

Technical Services is team of extraordinary technical experts whose #1 focus is to help customers deploy and operate their networks effectively, while delivering the best possible customer experience. Your success is validated through excellent financial results, growing customer satisfaction metrics, industry recognition, and employee satisfaction scores. Cisco's Technical Assistance Center (TAC) is aligned to three geographic regions; together, they form one global, borderless TAC.

Who You'll Work With

You'll be part of Cisco's Data Center Server Virtualization Services team and will provide 2nd/3rd level technical support for the Unified Computing platform. You'll support customers, partners, account teams, and other engineers consultation to independently solve problems & debug product problems.

Who You Are

  • You will be the connection to Cisco customers and build effective relationships while solving issues, handling expectations, and leaving the customer feeling valued.
  • You continually develop your knowledge of networking products and protocols to provide technical support on a worldwide basis in designated technology focus area
  • You can effectively utilize databases of existing issues, debugging tools and moderate lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions .
  • You share knowledge to build relationships, and effectively resolve problems both alone and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You are dedicated and have the ability to resolve complex technical problems, multitask, and ensure customer success
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience interacting with customers or in a client facing role.
  • Your 2+ years' experience is with Data Center Networking and Data Center Products.
  • Demonstrated networking experience including TCP/IP and Routing Protocols.
  • Troubleshooting experience using finisar, wireshark, or other protocol analyzer.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting of Data Center Solutions with: Cisco Unified Computing System, B/C Series Servers; Windows/Linux environments, VMware, Storage architectures, file systems.
  • You can design and implement DC Solutions on a multi-vendor platform and interconnect component interoperability.
  • 3rd Party ISV Support

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Cisco Certifications, HP, IBM, Dell Server Support, MCSE, VCP Certifications;
  • Specific knowledge of products within: Collaboration, Data Center, Security, Voice, Wireless, Routing, Switching
  • Programming skills (Python, Ruby, C, C++, Linux, Shell Scripting)
