We are seeking a Service Delivery ArchitectSecurity for Customer Experience (CX) leading the Strategic Services Engine as part of global CX Centers at Cisco.

The Strategic Services Engine serves to lead delivery of custom CX Center services, increase stakeholder confidence in CX Centers, shift more work to Centers, incubate innovation to scale, and introduce standardization (repeatability, automations) resulting in best in class P/L and transition of work to Proactive Services. More specifically, the scope includes Delivery Strategy (Delivery Methodology, Prioritization, Roadmaps), Demand & Expectation Management, Escalation Management, Performance Management, Continuous Service Improvement, Financial / Cost Management, Relationship Management, and Sales & Marketing Support.  

The Strategic Services Engine is organized into Lines of Business and the Practice. The lines of business focus on the content.

The Large Deal Methodology (LDM) team, a line of business in the Strategic Services Engine, is extending this vision making it easier, and more profitable, to achieve the changes that customers need now. What you will do

  • Define and Document delivery methodology and supporting documentation, including each lifecycle phase Conceptualize (Customer Requirements), Plan (Implementation Strategy), Design and advise cross functional teams across multiple technical, operational and architecture domains.
  • Use your architecture expertise and business insight to participate in discussions around technical aspects and value propositions relating to a customer RFP or an ongoing large deal.
  • Choose and/or define a practical service offer with complete work breakdown structures and scoping guidance.
  • Build staffing framework/plans adhering to the service delivery segmentation in the organization.
  • Identify processes to optimize and standardize to positively impact delivery productivity.
  • Identify or develop CX Centers capabilities, training plans and new offers to address customers business and IT outcomes.
  • Actively participate in communities, mentor others and maintain succession plans for large deals delivery activities.

Among the qualifications for this role, emphasis is placed on your ability to understand business and technical solutions for a key vertical (one of Government and Utilities; Financials; Healthcare, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Retail; OR Service Provider and Technical Services) and optimize Ciscos CX Centers ability to deliver those solutions profitably.

In the CX Center organizational design, there are 3 functions: Regions, Engines, and Foundations. This Service Delivery ArchitectSecurity role is aligned to the Strategic Services Engine. Engines are expected to:  

       Design, own and implement global delivery methodology for Engine with visibility to regional differences 

       Own disruption and innovation including business cases to take innovation to scale 

       Ensure Delivery Readiness for new & changed offers (working with CXPM & BUs)

       Actively monitor high quality service delivery and initiate process/tooling improvements 

As a part of the LDM team, you will work with a team of highly skilled and motivated individuals with focus on technology and business aspects towards the goal of ensuring successful outcomes for the customer and profitability for Cisco. In addition you will also work with stakeholders from the CX Region, CX Centers Delivery and Strategic teams, Sales, Business Development and the Program Management Office.

       Have a demonstrated ability to plan and accurately scope projects. 

       Like decomposing complex processes into tasks, steps, and predecessor relationships. 

       Have a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence actions of team members outside of function for improved team and service performance. 

       Can identify, prioritize and deliver training and documentation to drive global consistency. 

       Are analytical with a strong ability to translate insights into recommendations and actions. 

       Have strong business and technical writing skills, coupled with strong presentation abilities 

       Love teamwork, collaboration and have well-developed project management skills 

       Possess advanced Leadership Skills including leading by influence 

  • Are a highly motivated SME with proven exposure and experience in the area of Cyber Security services, which includes Advisory, Implementation and Optimization Services in customer environments spanning varied segments like Service Provider, Enterprise, Public Sector and Technical Services.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in understanding customers challenges and help envisage their monetization strategies and achieve their business outcomes.
  • Good in Security technology domain with demonstrated expertise in the following areas - Firewall, IPS/IDS, Admission Control, Content Security, encryption, VPN etc.
  • Have Domain Expertise in one or more of products and technologies such as Cisco ASA Firewall, Cisco NG IPS, Identity Services Engine, Content Security Platforms, third party security products & solutions.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of related experience in the IT industry.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Security technologies
  • Certified Expertise in Security (CCIE or equivalent).
  • Certified in Process Areas (ITIL/ TOGAF/ ISO/BPM/ PCI/ HIPAA, etc). Working Knowledge of Quality Systems and Industry Standards.
  • Working exposure in at least two Industry Verticals/Domains.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps technologies.
  • Experience with Automation and Container technologies.
