It's all part of our unwavering commitment to creating opportunities and bringing value to customers and communities around the world.Job Title:Software Engineer - UI developerTime Type:Full TimeCity:RESTONState:VAPosition Description: Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans Leads and participates in projects Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity Participates in the discovery phase of projects to develop high-level design Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions Provides recommendations on strategies, processes and best practices for the department Provides support to business partners Troubleshoots business and production issues JavaScript, CSS, XML, XHTML, HTML, SQL/ T-SQL, Core Java, Node.js, React.Js, Angular JS, NodeJS, Responsive design Strong working knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, etc.) Strong working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and techniques Strong working knowledge of RESTful API creation and consumption Additional Qualifications Experience developing hybrid applications (Ionic, React Native, Cordova, etc.) Experience implementing continuous integration and delivery models Experience with build automation (Jenkins, Team City, etc.) Experience with deploying to cloud architecture Experience with Automation testing using Selenium 3 years experience in agile delivery, especially Scrum, Kanban or Scrumban as well as DevOps. Demonstrated success in distributed systems, especially REST based services Strong API design, development and management Enthusiasm, curiosity, energy, perseverance and the desire to solve big problems Strong knowledge in software development theory and practice A product development agile mindset Experience with container technologies like Docker Strong knowledge of security standards, practices, and architecture Additional Preferred Qualifications 3 years experience with front end development. 2 years experience with Java 3 years experience with SQL Server 2008 or related program. 3 years experience writing complex stored procedures, policies, or related procedures. 3 years writing technical design documents.Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor of Science and 5 years' experience in software engineering OR Master of Science Additional Preferred Qualifications: + 1 year s experience designing technical solutions in response to customer requests or changes in retail business. + 2 years experience designing, leading, and implementing technology projects. + 2 years experience in production support, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer and vendor relations. + 2 years experience troubleshooting network infrastructure problems.
