What Youll Do

You will the Software Sales Programs and Strategy for Americas Service Provider, including direct field engagement, Product Management alignment, Marketing, and Partners. You will be creating new and transformational business solutions for all of our Service Provider customers, Premier accounts through Key, Major, Select, and Midsize. You will proactively cultivate relationships with software, BE stakeholders, and key partners.
  • Setting and driving the strategy for discovering and developing new software growth areas and go to market plans for our ASP customers
  • Evangelizing Software and EA sales to the field and architecture teams as a growth and profitability driver for ASP.
  • Aligning with product management in the development and introduction of new software offerings (MIG focused)
  • Reporting and forecasting support for ASP software growth including efficiency, successes, and areas of improvement.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the Americas Service Provider HQ organization that is leading Cisco's MIG (Mass Infrastructure Growth) portfolio growth, Web Scale and Cloud Solutions, and driving offers for some of the largest Enterprise customers in the world. In this role you will work across a highly diverse cross-functional team including Operations, Business Development, Sales, Partner Organization, and Product Management. You'll be a key member on a high-performing team that exists to help Americas Service Provider drive profitable growth.

Who You Are

You are a leader with strong sales, technology and business development expertise. You have keen business acumen and inter-personal skills and are sophisticated at translating customer needs into Cisco solutions. The ideal candidate has a broad knowledge across Ciscos software portfolio, as well the Service Provider customer base. This highly visible position requires an individual with outstanding leadership skills, oral and written communication skills to consult, communicate and position Ciscos value and capabilities to a broad audience.
  • 5 years experience selling software
  • 5 years working with Service Provider customers
  • Experience aligning with Product Management to drive customer specific features
  • Strong presence and executive level engagement
  • Executive level communications and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of how to apply next generation software and services to customer business objectives
