What You'll Do

You will manage segment or transaction specific suppliers by supporting supplier onboarding, risk assessments, contract negotiation, software procurement, Bill-of-Materials (BOM) structuring, and license compliance. You may also support strategic initiatives in addition to ongoing supplier relationship and supplier contract management.

Who You'll Work With

You'll be working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Finance, Legal, and other Supply Chain teams.

  • You will be part of Software and Cloud Global supplier management team of supplier and sourcing commodity managers who are highly professional, motivated, independent and fun-loving.
  • The team members support and cross- train each other to achieve business outcomes as a team while maintaining their respective areas of expertise.
  • You are empowered to make independent decisions using your expertise and experience, recognize and reward your peers achievement and celebrate the team successes.

Who You Are

You possesses a combination of software product management, contract negotiation, supplier management, business experience, technical knowledge, and strong communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has worked closely with software suppliers, can interpret license agreements, and is excited to participate in varying levels of business operation and commodity strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or Supply Chain; Masters degree preferred.
  • 4 years experience with Cloud and Software products and technology.
  • Management/multi-discipline experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with software license agreements or contracts.
  • Knowledge of software licensing, contract compliance and software Bill-Of-Material (BOM) structuring preferred.
  • Strategy and deal experience across the Core Networking, Services or Networking Software sector, including working understanding of Consulting Services, Professional Services, Managed Services and Software-enabled Services;
