We are looking for an experienced, hard working and motivated Software Engineer with a focus on test and automation, who can:

• Help build and qualify highly available, fault-tolerant, secure and scalable Cloud Firewall functionality using the latest cloud services and tools that provide industry-leading security to millions of people worldwide.
• Influence the strategy of CI/CD and regression test architecture, and partner with peer groups to execute on a complete vision for software quality leadership.
• Bring an attitude of developing simple solutions to complex problems.
• Be a technology enthusiast and innovator introducing new tools and technologies.
• Help recruit world-class cloud test engineers and collaborate with and mentor our robust team of cloud platform engineers.

Who are you?

You are a hands-on cloud software test engineer who is passionate about the customers experience of quality software, a self-starter who can build and execute highly efficacious test and automation plans, analyze and build back quality improvements from customer issues, and contribute to an overall CI/CD strategy.

Preferred:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience
• 5+ yrs of experience working as a test/automation lead or architect on highly scalable cloud applications 
• Hands-on experience in operating applications on public cloud platforms (preferably AWS): compute, database, and storage
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Python, preferred experience with TeraVM and other traffic generation tools for scale testing
• Experience in defining test requirements, test methodologies for cloud applications with the ability to differentiate between tests on the platform vs the application
• Networking experience, TCP/IP, layer 7 applications familiarity such as HTTP, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, FTP, etc. 
• Experience with CI/CD systems
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in agile delivery mod, with ownership and accountability
