Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE

The Supply Chain Development (SCD) Sr Analyst - Systems Implementation position plays an important role in the successful warehouse management system implementations, rollouts of new facilities and projects for the downstream One Supply Chain platform-MDO (Market Delivery Operations).

This individual will serve as a systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will execute, monitor and report out project tasks they are assigned. These tasks may include all aspects of systems testing and readiness, train the trainer, go live and post go live systems support. This position will provide guidance and leadership related to systems to the site leaders and associates, and any other resources assigned to project.

The qualified candidate has the ability to operate with minimal supervision and once given general assignments, prioritizes and executes tasks. Provides and communicates recommendations to upper management. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support and lead multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well with a team, interact with multiple levels and functions within the Supply Chain organization, and able to manage vendor/business relationships. 


MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Provide systems expertise and support to site users and documentation of lessons learned for all implementation activities

Facilitate, Support and Manage onsite execution of system implementation activities for assigned project.

Ensure feedback is provided to operations and Store Support Center stakeholders on System Performance, Systems Enhancements and Issues Management

Building strong relationships between the various stakeholders and customers involved in project


25%-Utilizes quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support business execution. Supports the business through ad-hoc queries, and maintains reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs

25%-Develops business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology. Identifies Logistics process improvement opportunities through strategic thinking, critical thinking and analysis

20%-Provides recommendations to senior management. Mentors and guides Logistics Analysts

20%-Performs data management through data mining/data modeling/data analysis/cost/benefit analysis/process mapping/%/or problem analysis while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility. Develops & maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models. Supports business through ad-hoc queries & maintains reports

10%-Manages vendor/business partner relationships

This position reports to Manager Systems Implementation 
This position has no Direct Reports

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS


Environment:


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:


Typically requires overnight 75% of the time. 


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Qualifications: 

3+ years of supply chain experience

Must be on call during assigned Operational hours for Implementation engagements when not onsite

Travel will be up to 75% except for non-Atlanta based resources

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3 years

Physical Requirements:


Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field
Software/Process/Building Startup Implementation experience
Manhattan WMOS or similar Warehouse Management Solution experience
Supply Chain experience
History of working on cross functional project teams
Process Improvement and training experience
Demonstrated ability to manage change and deliver results
Field Distribution Center experience
Consulting experience
