Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate of Global Stock Plans and Benefits Administration. This role will provide tactical support to the Global Stock Plan and Benefits Administration Teams.

This position will report to the the Senior Manager of Global Stock Plans & Benefits and will be based our of Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, Florida.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administer Amgen's global employee equity program, including the employee stock purchase plan
  • Work closely with third party stock plan administrators and local country HR and Payroll contacts
  • Timely and accurate execution of equity programs
  • Liaise with all levels of corporate, finance, compensation, tax, accounting and payroll
  • Produce detailed analysis and preparation of standard and ad-hoc reports using appropriate tools and resources
  • Maintain the policy and procedural documentation
  • Point of contact for escalation and resolution of tier 2 participant issues
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives and developing solutions to establish best practices
  • Assist with the biweekly funding process
  • Research and locate participants with unclaimed retirement plan checks
  • Assist Leave Administrator with LOA/disability documentation
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Assist with SOX compliance
  • Routine audits and discrepancy resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely in teams to effectively complete assignments

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience Employee Equity Programs and/or Benefits

  • Associate's degree and 6 years of [Job Code's Discipline and/or Sub-Discipline] experience

  • High school diploma / GED and 8 years of [Job Code's Discipline and/or Sub-Discipline] experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work closely in teams to effectively complete work
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain and handle confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong proof reading skills
