Sr. Data Engineer position typically involves Business Analysis, Designs Data models, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development using DataStage, Teradata/DB2/Oracle, Data Warehousing engineering design, security and Big Data & Cloud development / testing / implementation in an Agile environment.Seeks out and applies standards, concepts & functionality of all technology / systems within domain including relationships and interdependencies between technologies.

Candidate should have hands on Full Stack-engineering experience in Business & Data Analysis/Design, strong in SQL writing , ETL and Data warehouse Engineering in development, testing and implementation using DataStage in Unix/Linux using Teradata/DB2/Oracle dbs in Agile/Kanban setting with good analytical thinking and can work independently with minimum lead supervision.

  • Able to work with business stakeholders to gather/refine business raw requirements and groom them into Features and then work with the scrum teams to decompose into User Stories

  • Able to do coding, testing (unit/system/regression/support UAT) and implementation with minimum support
  • ""
  • Should have good knowledge on System, Regression and UAT testing
  • ""
  • Should have knowledge in code deployment in Production
  • ""
  • Strong experience of operating in a quickly changing environment and driving technological innovation to meet business requirements in Agile/Scrum setting

  • Able to build relationships across cross-functional teams and business stakeholders

  • Experience in CI/CD tool and DevOps

  • Provide support for Operational tickets and problem resolution

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Design / Data Mapping / Coding / Testing using DataStage, Teradata, Unix / Linux
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience in developing complex SQLs
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience in applications systems analysis and/or development and/or support
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle, Teradata and DB2 in Unix/Linux grid environment
  • ""
  • 2+ years of experience working with Scaled Agile framework. Ability to work in a fast paced Scaled-Agile Scrum environment for development projects and using Kanban board for Adhoc operational business requirements
  • ""
  • 1+ years of experience working with and deploying Airflow job automation
  • ""
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD
  • ""
  • Ability to create detailed technical design specifications
  • ""
  • Ability to act as project technical lead for projects
  • ""
  • Solid analytical and technical aptitude
  • ""
