What You'll Do

On this critical leadership role, theCX Renewals Transformation Sr. Director defines and owns the business strategy and transformation initiatives that accelerates success of CX Renewals organization, measured by improving on-time renewal rate (OTRR) of recurring revenue and growth of annualized recurring revenue (ARR) across all customers.

As an individual, you will perform as trusted business advisor with a 360o view of the business, build and maintain deep partner connections and act with bias for execution. You have a strong experience on subscription/XaaS business strategy specially around contract renewals, partner programs, customer success and end-to-end digital engagement.

As a leader, you will manage a team of business operations professionals who lead different ground-breaking initiatives. Your team will drive strategic programs to accelerate CX Renewals transformation globally and locally that will pave the road to build the best in class renewals organization.

Who You'll Work With

This role resides inCX Strategy, Partner and Operations organization which enables Ciscos fastest growing teams to deliver profitable growth throughout the customer lifecycle with a series of selling motions to drive higher value and an efficient experience from Cisco solutions.

You will drive deep cross-functional engagement across CX, Sales, Partners, Finance and Operations to prioritize key business initiatives, change management, strategy implementation and execution. You will also partner closely with the leadership team to drive, align and execute against the team's vision, strategy and strategic promises in each region and business entities, as well as with the Renewals Operations team to ensure tight alignment.

You will be required to

  • Define and drive execution of CX Renewals long term strategy.
  • Successfully build and launch strategic Renewal programs on time, within budget, while securing fast adoption.
  • Drive transformation in a multi-country, multi-cultural and virtual teams, influencing through persuasion, and consensus building while keeping the focus on growing renewal performance.
  • Be a subject matter expert on customer experience and renewals on subscription-based business models.
  • Improve effectiveness and efficiency of Renewals processes and customer engagements through technology.
  • Drive strategy and execution on key initiatives such as renewals automation, security renewals, DNAC renewals, renewal programs such as T-minus or Enterprise Agreements.

Minimum requirements

  • With 15+ years senior management experience, you should possess both leadership and strategy development experience for subscription-based Renewals.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Optional: MBA or equivalent from a nationally recognized institution.
  • Experience in a top tier consulting firm with expertise on XaaS strategy, business management with strong emphasis on customer success and renewals for technology companies.
  • Direct experience in leading effectively strategic programs in sophisticated and complex environments.
  • Adept at balancing short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.
