What You Will Do

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Executive Assistant to support our Senior Vice President (SVP) for CX Solutions & Acceleration in our San Jose HQ office. You will provide full calendar support, lead logistics for travel and meetings, and be flexible to assist with all matters that require attention of our SVP.

This role will offer an opportunity to work cross-departmentally within the company, as well as gain a stronger understanding of how the CX teams function as part of the Cisco organization. As you demonstrate creative approaches to problem-solving and strong decision-making capabilities, you will gain opportunities to pursue growing levels of program management, exposure to many aspects our business, and opportunities to take on special projects as needed.


  • Actively maintain calendars and daily schedules, fielding and prioritizing requests.
  • Organize and arrange detailed travel plans, itineraries, agendas and process expenses.
  • Ensure leader is well-informed of upcoming activities and responsibilities with continual follow through.
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the leadership team, while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs while handling matters expeditiously.
  • Follow through on projects to successful completion.
  • Plan and execute team events including related travel occasionally.
  • Coordinate with leadership team to ensure smooth in-team communication

Who You Are


  • 8+ years in an administrative capacity, 4+ years supporting a senior executive
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and problem solving skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Educational requirement Associate Degree preferred

Who You'll Work With

CX Solutions and Acceleration is part of the Cisco Customer Experience organization reporting directly into Ciscos EVP for Customer Experience, Maria Martinez. This team is responsible for developing and delivering the Customer Experience architecture and solutions that help customers accelerate business outcomes and enable our partners to expand that value to customers. You'll work not only with leaders and partners across the CX organization, but also with exec admins within organizations we must tightly interlock with such as Sales and Engineering building a strong network that can streamline activities and ensure effective execution.
