Sr. Manager, Global Partner Marketing - Small Business

What You'll Do

You will join the industry leading Global Partner Marketing team to provide strategic leadership for marketing to, with and through partners to collect the small business segment. This is one of the fastest growing areas at Cisco, and we are looking for a marketing leader to scale and accelerate growth.

Working closely with the Global Partner Organizations business leaders, you will build and direct a team responsible for developing data driven marketing strategy and plans, based on identified investment opportunities, addressable markets, and the opportunity to capture small business audiences through the most profitable routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and Drive the Small Business Marketing strategy; set priorities, enhance value and investment
  • Lead SB marketing team and extended community team members - create vision and aligned direction for the team performance insights and optimization plans to accelerate growth.
  • Deep understanding of insights, analytics and measurement and demonstrating marketing impact to develop a solid understanding of different RTM targeting SB segment including eCommerce, Distribution, Partners, SPaaCH and MSP
  • Collaborate and establish relationships with Global, Regional Distribution, Partner Marketing teams, Field Marketing and Sales to drive awareness, enablement and demand with Small Business Partner campaigns through key partner routes.
  • Build campaigns and programs to reach new customers, as well as x-sell and up-sell into existing customers through partner routes
  • Work in partnership with Insights & Analytics, develop Small Business marketing dashboard to find opportunities, optimize marketing programs and share business results.

The team works with partners, external and internal collaborators in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to drive marketing strategies that help partners achieve business outcomes and grow Ciscos business. You have an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and agile team that is undergoing an evolution of its practices and skills to become more coordinated and automated using a digital/ omni channel approach where practical, so our marketing becomes more personalized and effective.

You will be a strategic partner to the Global Partner Organizations leadership team, and your counterparts across Global Marketing and Communications. You will work across our global and country teams to apply all that Cisco can offer to our partners, which account for 90% of Ciscos $49 billion revenue.

You understand through firsthand experience the challenges of marketing complex IT solutions to small businesses, through direct, partner and distribution channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of B2B Marketing and Communications leadership experience, preferably in marketing technology to small business audience.
  • Global experience in marketing through multiple go-to-market motions including resellers, GLOBAL systems integrators, technology partners, and distributors.
  • Consistent track record of accomplishment in building and leading balanced high-performance teams.
  • Demonstrated digital marketing success.
  • Preferably career success in large global brands.
