The Sr. Administrative SCA Specialistis responsible for much of the administrative work associated with the Service Contract Act to assist the businesses that have been awarded contracts with SCA provisions.The Sr. Administrative SCA Specialistwill work with communications to employees, training and maintaining accurate records in GSS.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Utilize Excel to send SCA Notification letters to employees that are new to an SCA role and auditing receipt of letters
  • ""
  • Coordinate with Finance that all SCA employees that are recording time against a contract have an SCA job code
  • ""
  • Run audits to ensure we are capturing all SCA employees for existing processes
  • ""
  • Manage Tier 2 HR Direct cases related to SCA questions
  • ""
  • Responsible for auditing and assigning trainings to employee profiles as necessary, in addition to sending out reminder emails
  • ""
  • Pull Wage Determination Tables (WD) for employees new to the role; monitor entire SCA population to ensure we have the most up-to-date WD information for all (coordinate with contract provisions)
  • ""
  • Assist in calculating wage differentials for existing contracts
  • ""
  • Monitor extra/missed SCA PTO anniversary awards
  • ""
  • Assist with annual payout of SCA Floating Holidays and SCA Anniversary PTO payout
  • ""
  • Create and document new processes as needed
  • ""
  • Research errors, determine root cause and make recommendations for on-going process improvements
  • ""
  • Conduct user acceptance testing for new functionality and defect fixes within GSS
  • ""
  • Use knowledge and judgment to troubleshoot issues and problems
  • ""
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees
  • ""
  • Collaborate with Benefits, Wealth, Compensation, Business partners and HR communities in the support of payroll SCA changes
  • ""
  • Other projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • ""
  • Demonstrated experience with project documentation discipline
  • ""
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc. (Macros a plus)
  • ""
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
  • ""
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
